Poem + Donation = Students Get Published
At the end of the school year, Paley did a almost two month editing apprenticeship program with Polyphony Lit, which cemented her interest in editing even more. At the end she was offered an editing role with the orga. Since late June she has been editing young writers submissions to the publishing house. Polyphony Lit is an online publishing house, that publishes 3 editions a year of students works, which are submitted during various times a year and under different themed contests. To ensure this publication process benefits writers and their craft. Polyphony Lit offers scholarships and free publishing fees for young writers.
To ensure young writers have this opportunity, Polyphony Lit does fundraising. This weekend, they will be hosting their first Poetry-on-Demand Marathon—a virtual event held this weekend (August 2–3) celebrating creativity with purpose.
