Goodbye: An Affinity for Helen Gurley Brown

I really did have an affinity towards Helen Gurley Brown. Every time I saw her interviewed by Elsa Klench or Jeane Beker, I knew the fashion world was filled with great women just like her. A power woman with great charm and quick witty. She truly was a one of a kind. She ruled Cosmo like no other. Her covers were simple but the key being beautiful women. Yes Scavullo did them and yes in the 70’s and 80’s the cover were a little soft core, but they didn’t go past that one single point where it did become soft core. Gonna miss this funny girl.
