I purchased a piece from Andy Kehoe many moons ago. Granted it was only print, I liked his vision of reality. Late last year at Spoke Gallery’s annual Wes Anderson themed show, I saw this piece “Day of Cider” which based on the Fantastic Mister Fox. Paley has loved that movie since the age of 2. The piece had such amazing detail in person. I wanted it badly but the price point was a little two high for that size of a piece.
I love Andy but Clem would have killed me. What’s great is he sells prints of his works on his etsy store, which is still up and running. It’s nice to see some artists still believe in etsy. So many have run away because they think they’ve hit it big time. Andy has but still believes in obtainable art for the masses.
